Cesium tin chloride (CsSnCl3) It is an attractive light-absorbing material for lead-free perovskite solar cells; however, its performance potential has not yet been fully realized, as existing fabrication methods lead to various types of defects in the device. The present study investigates a solar cell featuring a perovskite absorbing layer CsSnCl3 and layered structure for electron transport layers similar a double layer ZnO/C60, where zinc oxide in the form of nanowires is the material of interest, WSe2 as a hole-transport layer has been utilized. In previous studies, these layers were individually investigated, and their suitability for use in perovskite solar cells was confirmed. The simulation method and software were employed to perform the calculations using SCAPS-1D. Thus, calculations for multilayer perovskite cells: ITO/ZnO/C60/CsSnCl3 (600 nm)/WSe2/Au was carried out. The thickness, layer doping, and defect density for both the layers and the interface were optimized to achieve the best efficiency (34.35) for the solar.
